Sheri Signer

Sheri Signer leads operational initiatives at Recoding America Fund, where she supports the buildout of the organization’s internal infrastructure, process strategy, and the technology that connects them.

Sheri is a strategic operations leader and systems thinker with a passion for data and technology at the intersection of philanthropic and nonprofit work. Her commitment to the social sector is rooted in firsthand experience with food justice and food security, work that shaped how she thinks about equity, access, and what it means to build systems that actually serve people.

Most recently, she served as Deputy Director and Principal of Project and Program Management at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, where she built and ran enterprise-wide systems for strategy execution, aligning projects with organizational strategic plans, designing an equity-centered onboarding program, and leading change management initiatives. Through her consulting practice, she works with philanthropic organizations and national nonprofits on operations and systems redesign, focused on programmatic and funding management.

Sheri attended SUNY College at Purchase and Teachers College, Columbia University for Nonprofit and Arts Administration. She has earned certificates in Project Management from Cornell University and Monitoring and Evaluation from NYU and is a certified Project Management Professional.
